Reading the End Bookcast, Ep.73: 2016 in Review

Happy first Wednesday of 2017! Whiskey Jenny and I are back this week to review what we read in 2016 and think about resolutions and plans for 2017. Before you ask, yes we are reinstituting the Hatening and yes I have a genuinely excellent Hatening pick this year. I am so sure that Whiskey Jenny will hate it. You can listen to the podcast in the embedded player below or download the file directly here to take with you on the go.

  • Yes, if you’re not watching out, men will just sneak up on you! That applies to more than just literature. It’s very interesting to hear your reading stats. I think everyone’s resolution should be to “be better.” Happy New Year!

  • God I love this podcast. Seriously. You’re actually the only podcast I listen to; I am not a podcast person.

If you guys are going to read Watership Down, you should read this article by a blogger I really love, Siderea. I don’t know that I agree with her that the first part of the book ever seems weak, but her analysis to disprove that statement is so interesting.
