I thought the parents were terrible and the kids were crazy and it was so unreal and weird. But Water for Elephants they gave away the end right at the beginning, that was really lame.

Imani – Thanks! Strangled Elizabeth indeed. Pfft. I thought it was interesting that Henry James didn’t like Robert Browning. That cheers me up, because I’ve been putting off reading Henry James for many years, and now I have a good reason to. 🙂

I really did like the book. Although, in the beginning I had a horrible time getting over the whole moral dilemma of the parents creating their children for their own personal gain. But when I accepted that, I really liked their story. It’s one of those that has stuck with me.
