Really, lukewarm? I LOVED this book and thought the third person detachment was necessary and real considering the characters' post-traumatic responses to the war and postwar world. Reading this book was like sitting down and talking to my family members; then again, my family did go through the internment.

Anyway, glad you gave it some press and praise.

:) Thanks for a truly entertaining visit. I did not intend to stay so long, but well, one book review led to another, so I just gave in and had a great time!
