I would go see it too — I think this book gets at such an important part of history, that doesn’t really get taught in schools (at least not in mine).

I’m young but I’m not so young that I can’t understand the meaning behind this novel. I have had ancestors go through events similar to those in the book. I was 13 when I read this book and it was great. I didn’t expect some of the twists and turns in there like when Stick died. It broke my heart for Sam and his family. Honestly I think they should make this novel into a movie but film it the exact same way it is in the book. If they were to do that I most definitely go see it!
