I’m so late to the party, but welcome to NYC! I was not a city person before moving here, or even for the first bit of living here, but I learned to love it!

I concur with many others: get the MOMA membership, then pay what you can when you go to the Met, and don’t stress if it’s not $20. It’s better for the Met if you go there and give them some money than if you don’t go at all because you can’t afford $20, right? Also, if you want to try out either museum, a pass from my work will get me + 1 guest in for free! No pressure, since you have not actually met me in real life. And congrats!

Awww, WHERE have I been?! CONGRATULATIONS and yes, I didn’t see this post until now but – I have no excuses. and I wish you ALL the bestestests! If you ever want to take the train up to Mass and see my NEW PUPPY (which is why I’ve been only allowed little snippets of blogging time – I’ll post more pics soon), you are more than welcome. I have no idea abt MoMA or the Met but I’m sure either will be grand. Very cool, yay to the universe for giving Jenny the dream job! woo hoo!!!! HAPPY for you. 🙂

All the money in the world couldn’t make me live in NYC, but obviously LOTS of other people feel differently.

Congratulations Jenny! This is such exciting news! I have never been to New York so I can’t contribute to the museum discussion, but I wish you much luck with your move and getting settled in and starting the new job of course! And it’s so sad that you have to leave the puppy behind. 🙁 Hopefully there will be lots of visits home in your future.
