I’m a NG addict. I also got The Short Nights of the Shadow Catcher by Timothy Egan from NG. It is about photographer Edward Curtis’ attempt to document through photos all of the tribes. Monumental goal that he pursued through some 22 volumes. Excellent.

Ah, Wallace Stevens. I absolutely cannot stand his poems generally, yet he has one of my favorite lines of all time.

I wasn’t necessarily ready to be angry when I started this one, but I enjoyed it nevertheless.
