And hey! I’ve got the perfect book for you and I don’t think you’ve read it? A Natural History of Dragons by Marie Brennan! Dragons and fantasy and naturalists and historical ladies doing unusual things!

(I also have a hard time reading cooking memoirs because they make me SO. HUNGRY. And nothing I eat is ever as good as what they describe in the book. Sigh.)
