Ok so I missed this post originally, but I finally read the book this month, and you're right: I absolutely loooooved it! And then I found out it was inspired by a true story & read this weird author interview that makes it sound like her intentions were the opposite of how I interpreted the book, and now I don't know what to think. But while reading it & for the day or two afterwards, before reading the interview, I was just in a haze of reading bliss. So I had the same reaction as you, and you called it perfectly. :DDD

Hahahaha, I understand. My whole concern was that you wouldn't have sufficient tolerance for bullshit to be able to stand reading the book. Which it appears was indeed the case. Sorry!!!

Okay, I got it from the library, and started it, but since it was a Jenny Book, I skipped to the end to see what The Real Deal was. And I HATED it. So I DNF'ed it. But it's not your fault! And it looks like very competent writing. But I don't want to spend that much time with THAT GUY. ugh.

Loving books is SO awesome. I had such a good reading year in 2013, I was worried that 2014 wouldn't be able to compare. But it's been great so far, and there's a lot of amazing-looking books on the horizon too. Reading! It's the greatest!
