I eventually came to like the Keira Knightley version of P&P, but am indeed shocked by the comparison of Jennifer Ehle’s acting to oatmeal cooking. That said, I think that comparison would work for describing the acting of the actress who playedJane Bennet in the 1995 P&P mini-series. Rosamund Pike was a marked improvement in that casting.

I have seen the Empire Falls miniseries – a long time ago – and at the time I remember being disappointed in it, though it wasn’t horrible. I loved the book.

I remember being surprised by how good the adaptation of Atonement was, despite some changes to the story and tone.

I agree that this was the best game you’ve come up with so far (although I’ve enjoyed all of the games). Thanks for all the work you put in to come up with those titles!

I listened to your podcast on a long car ride. I could not get the answers to the quiz! I think I might have figured out one before you guys did but that was it. I am not good at remembering titles!
