This sounds like the best kind of slump. I am in a slump, too, but that just involves watching a ton of television instead of reading.

I love the idea of rereading but hardly ever do it. Except with classic crime, which I will reread even if I recall who did it (you and I are, after all, not bothered with that spoiler stuff). I always feel guilty about all the unread books on my shelf. But then I do think that rereading is the key to reading slumps and to general malaise.

I’m mildly surprised that HHhH is a book that makes you want to reread it. That moves it up in my list.

I’m on a slump too. Such a terrible one that I didn’t enjoy what was a perfectly nice book (Oryx and Crake), I just don’t want to even reread old favorites, I’m not even reading blogs properly. Don’t know when I”ll come out of this 🙁
