Nice! That sounds like a perfect readalong location! And yeah, Lucy Snowe does tend to skew negative about most aspects of her life. I enjoy it when she’s making fun of Ginevra Fanshawe, but it can get wearing when she’s trashing whole countries or like, children with mental disabilities. (I know it was a different time. But still. It’s uncomfortable to read.)
