Confession - I was once (re)introduced to a guy I had met and gotten to know 4 years prior but he didn't recognize me so I just went along with 'not knowing him' either. Umm, I'm going to show myself out now, hahaha!

Anyway. I want to root for M. Paul because I'm sure his facial recognition skills are superior to Dr. John's.

I still do not entirely buy Lucy knowing Graham = Dr. John the whole time. STOP LYING TO ME, LUCY. But that could be like wtf, why would she do that? Other than the fact that she's super in love with him and was all hurt about him loving Ginevra.

I was so annoyed by their whole quarrel, since he really doesn't deserve any respect in that area (excellent gif choice, by the way) and I would much rather have had her stick to her guns and apologize for being mean but say that the sentiment was still there or something. I don't know.

The posts this week are convincing me more and more that M Paul is right for Lucy Snowe in a way that Dr John is certainly not.

Oh man...we read completely different books this week. That is the best, that that's possible to do. I'm in agreement with you that M. Paul is Lucy's someone. Did you not at least take heart from the way she was looking at him at The Concert? Oh wait. Dammit. Did I read too far again? Chapter 20 right?

But I didn't get nearly the same feeling from the art gallery coconversation. To the point that I think I should maybe reread it.
