That final sentence would make such a great intro to every review. Debating whether it is too spoilery to use for mine... I am also so in love with the bit about all the reasons why Hazel kisses boys (bored girl who has been there). The plot was fuzzy in places & in different ways than Coldest Girl was, but the pay off was pretty good.

Yes, yes, yes! I loved this book too, despite the nits. I can be a pretty good nit ignorer when I wanna be. Holly Black can do no wrong in my book. I need to get back to that Curse Workers trilogy!

I hardly ever read books with fantastic elements and then I come here to read your reviews and wonder why I don't - you make them sound so luscious. I am completely in agreement with you about low expectations. If it were possible to maintain low expectations for every book I picked up, I feel sure I would love them all much more. Those sneaky high expectations!
