I will always enjoy a good rant on any subject, but I still contend that M. Paul is no worse than that first scene when he locked Lucy in the hot attic and didn’t let her eat. And you LIKED him then. So who’s changed, Jenny, huh? WHO’S CHANGED?

Really, though, I wouldn’t want to be friends with any of these people. None of them.

So, I’m getting the feeling I wouldn’t like this book. I’d have to get a paper copy, so I can through it, when needed.

I only skimmed your post, because someday I will read this book. The GIFs made me giggle, particularly the last one. Even without the context of having read the book.

I was so, so happy when Lucy said “hellllll no” to Dr John when he asked her to flirt with Paulina for him. You go girl. BUT THEN I was frustrated with her for the rest of this section.

Ginevra is, obviously, the best. It makes me sad that she is sad.

I actually did not expect anything to happen at this gathering, frankly, I did kind of wish someone would hit someone or someone would shout something outrageous and reveal something.

I don’t like how dr john is treating lucy there but I didn’t expect much from him after the re-appearance of polly. I did expect dr john to fall for polly/paulina (is anyone else bother by the ever-changing names?), and m paul to say something rude to lucy and that everyone else just wanders the room and make small talks. is that consider a successful party if nothing happens?

I don’t like ginevra much before but I don’t hate her, I think she’s realistic, she doesn’t hide her agenda, I guess a friend like ginevra wouldn’t be so bad for lucy, at least, lucy never have to pretend with her.

The more CB makes me try to hate Ginevra the more I love her and want Lucy to end up with her. THEY’D BE SO ADORABLE TOGETHER. I’d like to think that’s why there was no scheme to make Ginevra look bad. Lucy couldn’t bring herself to do it. Not cos she’s a such a saint or anything (you know…obv) but cos there is love there.
