It’s been a long time since I read Color Purple. I did love it then but had forgotten some of the details. I did remember Mr. _______ and Nettie’s experiences in Africa. I don’t remember the pant business part – gasp! Thanks for your post though – I definitely feel that this is a book worth rereading. I remember loving the writing so much.
