I think I would get a complex reading this book. I am Asian, but I am not rich, and (hopefully) not crazy either.

I do love a good Jackie Collins, and reading about designer swag, so maybe I won’t be too badly off reading this one 😀

I’m super late because I’m a sad, laggy turkey, but I looooooove conspicuous consumption. Loooooove it. Like, I just started GOSSIP GIRL and I’m pretty sure I’m gonna be super into it because it’s all well-dressed people behaving badly in opulent locations and that sort of thing floats my boat.

Which means this floated my boat, though I liked the sequel better because it started with a RANDOM HALF-BROTHER OMG. Also, I’d fully accepted that it wasn’t gonna be as salacious as Jackie Collins (though the dismembered fish in Rachel’s bag was quite Collins-esque; good job, Kevin Kwan).

In reply to anbolynp. It's TOTALLY not. It's what I always imagine, like, Jackie Collins to be like. Don't tell that to your patrons. I have never read Jackie Collins. This is a very vague impression of mine. or Penny Vincenzi?
