I am so happy I liked Locke and Key too! It seemed like something I should like, and I was bummed when I read the first volume and did not love it.

Girl, okay, but you’re thinking of serial killers in like the 1800s, right? It’s not the same. Although 1800s serial killers are not good either.

This is why I don’t like reading comics serially! It’s just more fun to binge on them, particularly because my overloaded brain doesn’t have to keep track of plotlines over a long period of time. :p

Yeah, I am mainly with you about the sci-fi-with-a-touch-of-horror thing. Neil Gaiman is about as scary as I can get. Locke and Key was a teensy bit over the line for me, particularly in the first volume, but not so far over that I didn’t end up enjoying it. Expanding my comfort zones! 😀

Mmmmmm, Christmas. I already have several presents sorted out for Christmas. It cannot be soon enough for me.
