Well — I mean, it’s like JS&MN in that it’s set in the Regency era and it’s got magic in it. It doesn’t have nearly the same amount of mythology that JS&MN has, and it doesn’t have the sort of scholarly trappings. I loved those things about JS&MN but I can see how a person might find them irritating.
