Love this post. I totally agree that, 10 episodes would have been enough. And I actually thought the Jessica not being under his control was a given until I saw her discover it in this episode. Yes, we already knew it!!! I wish Jessica Jones was a one-season-thing alone; I don’t think the new one will live up to my expectations!

I didn’t mind the whole Jerry manipulating things to let Kilgrave out thing, because the show foreshadowed it for like four eps, so when it happened I was like, FINALLY. But yeah, it doesn’t really make sense.

In reply to Shannon @ River City Reading. Hahahaha, yeah. The last four episodes were the ones I watched on my own, which maybe had an impact on how I felt about them. It just felt like the show could have wrapped everything up more quickly than it did. I'm hoping the second season's pacing will be better!

I definitely agree that it would have been stronger at 10 episodes. We could have eliminated Simpson’s weird dark science military cult storyline thing. I prefer him as an independent thug. Really, I mostly prefer him on the receiving end of Trish’s “Look, last night was fun, but that doesn’t mean I want your opinion,” which is one of the best lines ever uttered.
