I also really dislike the Evil Simpson plotline. I liked his existence on the show much better when he was just a guy who wanted to help but was a bit too controlling and couldn’t be relied on to take orders from Jessica – it was much more nuanced that way. Making him Super Crazy Evil out of nowhere just seems like a stupid device to eat up time since they don’t have enough Kilgrave plot to last thirteen episodes. Also, I don’t like the implication that he’s done this before (the allusion to what happened in – Damascus, I think?) because it doesn’t fit with the way he was introduced to the show, when he was so horrified at the thought of having killed Trish. If he has to be Crazy Evil, I would like it much better if he were just unhinged by the after-effects of being Kilgraved.

I’m not a person who likes being tucked so I had no troubles with the blanket waft. I love Trish so much! I was worried about Luke when he looked out the bar window at Jessica and then I remembered, oh yeah, he’ll be fine. I’m wondering how this might change his relationship with Jessica now that he has been Kilgraved.

As the parent of a person who doesn’t like to be touched much, I am a fan of blanket-wafting. The trick is to express your love and keep the person warm without a moment when they realize it’s happening. Stealth nurturing for prickly people.
