This is incredibly sweet and SOOO true! I was the same way about Amy when I first started blogging – super intimidated and shy – but you’re right, she is the kindest person ever and thank goodness for everything she’s done to bring our community closer together. I’m so glad you ladies are carrying on the BBAW tradition this year. 🙂

Oh yes, Amy and Ana were two bloggers who were super welcoming to me when I started the book blog. It did seem more tightly knit back then, but the diversity of voices now is really something to behold!

It seems like the glory days are always in the past by the time I join a group, but I’d say that might not be true in the case of book blogging with bloggers like you taking up the reins… Thank you! I think the organization of it has been great!

Haha, I know what you mean about Amy’s blog name. I wondered for the longest time if I missed something in the About description, if Amy was instead a friend of the actual blogger, etc etc.

Well, I feel about YOU exactly how you feel about Amy! You seem to be everywhere, and seem to be insanely well-read and up-to-date with the latest cultural on-dits and think-pieces, and make blogging seem fun and welcoming and INTERESTING!
