I *love* the State of Play miniseries. Spotlight is great as well. I have had trouble getting into Nalo Hopkinson. I’ve tried Chaos and Sister Mine and both ended up being DNF books for me. I read The Girl on the Train. It was fine. I think the movie will be better – especially with Emily Blunt playing the main character. Good luck to Whiskey Jenny with the Patrick Ness books. I actually liked the first book the best.

I totally understand missing Go Set a Watchman, I wish I had had your good sense and did the same. But why miss The Girl on the Train? It’s over-hyped, true, but it’s still quite a nice book.

I’d continue to miss “Fates and Furies.” I thought it was SO BORING. But I was the only one on the Internets who felt that way, I think.

More Nalo Hopkinson, yes! I want to read all her stuff but I also don’t because I’m terrified I’ll run out of new reads. Such a dilemma. Also, I’m still kinda the only one who didin’t read Between the World and Me last year. I really want to but it was weirdly popular weith white liberals. But I’ll get to it this year hopefully. Ha I did read Girl on the Train despite all the hype and actually really liked it, I might give it a reread.
