Tor, I just love Tor! Also, you are right we need all the sociopolitical speculative fiction we can get. Put this on my tbr immediately, so fascinated by the European and EU context- didn’t think I’d live to see the day this was covered in great spec lit!

I started reading this book last night in bed, and stayed up an hour later than I’d meant to! (And I’m all kinds of sleep deprived after coming back from AZ, which is on PST, to OH, where we’re on EDT, three hours earlier.)

In reply to Katie @ Doing Dewey. Oooo I cannot promise they get super deep into the science, so you may read this and be like "Outrageous! None of this is good science!" I stereotypically stopped doing science in middle school like a stereotype girl, which I regret in many ways, but it does make me a very unpicky scifi reader. :p
