Ahh so that’s why you’re a caterpillar killer at the moment. They look so fuzzy, but falling from the sky onto you really sounds like too much to take. But: “genderswapped Othello in space” sounds fantastic, I think I’m awfully behind even the US and have not read anything by the author. Also, it looks like I do need to start Stiefvater’s series at some point, I thought I’d skip it for the moment but there you go with sociological speculative fiction, that is bait!
Hmmm spring is alright, but it means it’ll soon get warmer and very soon I will be complaining about the heat and spoil everyone’s favorite time of the year 😀

Caterpillars! I feel so sorry for you. I once had large cockroaches falling on my head in a shower which was unpleasant but at least they didn’t sting me. (DID I run shrieking out of the house wrapped only in a towel anyway? You know I did. My neighbours WERE surprised.) (I’ve never quite been able to look at dried dates in quite the same way though.)

I have no idea about the Raven King but it is a lovely cover.

I loved how Gansey was avoiding everyone’s meaningful looks while trying to pack five people, a dog, and a ton of luggage into a camero. That scene is a gift.

That caterpillar is actually quite cute and cozy. But I prefer to look at their photos and stay far away from a live one. Ugh, stinging one too!

Those stinging caterpillars sounds horrible! Idk where you live but imma gonna avoid it in the spring. One of the benefits of living at high altitudes is that we don’t have a lot of bugs, and when we do they’re usually tiny.

I’m so ready for the Raven King. JUST KISS ALREADY!!! For the love of heaven. Also, wtf Neve?

Those caterpillars seem horrible. Spring is actually the best season in the D.C. area, I think, as long as it doesn’t slip into summer humidity too quickly. It is hard to predict though. We had a little snow last Saturday but I had the car window rolled down on the drive home today. ¯_(ツ)_/¯

I think the caterpillar is pretty and if I was primary bird food I’d want all the stinging power I could muster. Birds are the real enemy here.
