For sure. I’d have loved to have this when I was a kid — I was prone to thinking that I was “different from other ladies,” and this could have been a really salutary book for me to have read back then.

In reply to Lory@Emerald City Book Review. YES me too. I love it that Frances Hardinge often seems to be pitting her women characters against each other, but then in reality she never actually is. It's a lovely and refreshing change of pace.
