I was a hair too old when I Kissed Dating Goodbye was published for a lot of it to make sense for me and my peers, but bits of the ideas behind it cropped in the dating(ish) world I was part of. There was the notion that casual dating was emphatically not a thing. And then there was the idea that having sexual fantasies (even if not actually having sex) was something to be ashamed of. Once married, you could flip that switch.]]></description>
