I do know a tiny bit about South African history because of studying the Boer War - apparently that was when concentration camps were first used, another reason to be grateful to our British ancestors - but I had never heard of the Homelands, what a grisly idea.

Really Nelson Mandela was so extraordinary. I feel a bit weepy just thinking about him. Would that there were more leaders like him.]]></description>
