Do y’all have those genres that you always say you don’t like, even though you have a not-insignificant number of books on your shelf in those genres? When I read Educated last year and recommended it to all and sundry, I added the caveat that I am no longer in my memoir phase, except for weird-culty-religion memoirs, as those are my catnip.
