I kind of get a kick out of reading books that have Shocking Content (for their time), but because of the way society has evolved, the content that was shocking before is no longer shocking and indeed has become sort of — you know. On with the reading of books by Ruth Rendell/Barbara Vine to decide what I indeed think of her! And you know what I realized when I was composing this review in my head while washing dishes? I realized that Lucas’s book title?
